I Love Birthday Cakes

I love making birthday cakes for my peeps!  I usually make these little tea light cakes with matching cards, but for this special friend's birthday I made her a tea light cake and a cake slice.  The slice is actually a gift box that I put the little tea light in.

It was fun to make.

Crafts for Sports Fans

Our baseball team won the World Series last year and the theme for a lot of the Christmas gifts last year was the Kansas City Royals. Seems like almost everyone in our family was buying or making gifts with the Royals theme.  I couldn't be left behind, so I created cute charm necklaces with gift boxes. Of course, I had to include our football fans!

They were so popular I continued to make them as gifts for birthdays too.

Okay, I'm going to do something a little adventurous this year.  I'm joining a blog hop to showcase something I made with my Sizzix eClips2.

The holidays will be upon us before you know it.  I'm ready to get started a little early this year, especially with new projects using my eclips2. I love planning out my holiday crafts, but love even more the pleasure my small gifts bring to the recipients.  I feel like I'm giving a little piece of me.

While on vacation in Spain, I purchased a beautiful handwoven tablecloth for a friend at work.  I thought the special gift needed a special gift box, so I whipped up this pretty box with my eclips2. The template I used came from SVGCuts Winter Gazebo SVG Kit.  Here's a link to that file.

Vintage-Look Gift

Here's another little gift I made for a friend who loves all things vintage.  Vintage jewelry, vintage clothing, vintage houses, and now vintage-look papercrafts! This is another SVGCuts project using the Parkside Row SVG Kit.
